ICED 21 workshop - Design Neurocognition: Challenges, Purposes, and Approaches
The Cognitive Design Science SIG will be running a virtual workshop at ICED 21: Design Neurocognition: Challenges, Purposes, and Approaches
The workshop will feature presentations from invited researchers on design neurocognition methods and their applications, followed by group discussion to map the purposes and challenges for this emerging field. Speakers will include:
- Naama Mayseless, who works with fNIRS and tDCS
- Kosa Goucher-Lambert, who works with fMRI
- Sonia Vieira, who works with EEG
We will also run a live demo of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
If you want to learn about design neurocognition approaches and contribute to mapping the future direction of the field, join us on Monday 16th August at 16:30-19:30 CEST. Further information will be made available soon on the ICED website.
You can register for the full ICED conference, or for one day only to attend the workshop: https://iced.designsociety.org/40/Registration
The workshop will be run by John Gero and Laura Hay (co-chairs), along with Philip Cash, Naama Mayseless, Tripp Shealy, and Sonia Vieira (programme committee).
