In response to the ever growing needs and wishes of the customer, cars are continually being developed and refined. The intensifying globalization of the automotive industry as well as an increase in region-specific requirements for a vehicle makes it difficult to define a vehicle concept suitable for all markets. In this context, a major challenge exists to satisfy the individual and region-specific mobility needs of the population with a reasonable number of vehicle variants and to simultaneously take into account region-specific customer requirements. To consider the region-specific differences during the vehicle design, a tool has been developed that shows the influence of the vehicle environment on a vehicle and provides information on these region-specific differences in the early stages of the development process.
